FAQ
Quick answers for trip participants
Below you will find answers to the most common questions about downloading the app, activating a trip, offline access and technical issues.
What is IncentiveApp?
IncentiveApp is an app for participants of group trips and events. The organiser can share the itinerary, information, maps, files and selected online features in the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Participants do not create an account in the app. To activate a trip, you need an individual access code provided by the organiser.
Where do I get my access code?
You will receive the access code from the trip organiser. It may be sent by email or by email and SMS, depending on the communication method chosen by the organiser.
Can I share my access code with someone else?
No. The access code is individual and should be used by one participant only. Do not share it with other people.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, selected information is available offline after the trip has been activated. This applies to sections such as Information, Itinerary, Maps and Files.
Before the trip, it is worth opening the app while you have Internet access and entering your activated trip to make sure the most important materials are visible.
What requires an Internet connection?
Internet access is required to download content updates and to use online features, such as Gallery, Wall and other functions that require data synchronisation.
I can’t see the latest information. What should I do?
Check your Internet connection, close the app running in the background and open it again. Then open your trip again.
It is also worth checking whether you are using the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play.
My access code does not work. What should I do?
Check whether the code has been entered exactly as shown in the message from the organiser. Pay attention to typos, uppercase and lowercase letters and any extra spaces.
If the code still does not work, contact the trip organiser. The organiser can check whether the code has been assigned correctly.
I can’t see my trip on the main screen. What should I do?
Close the app and open it again. Also check your Internet connection. If the trip was previously activated, check whether it is in the archive.
If you still cannot see it, contact the organiser.
Is there a participant QR code in the app?
For selected trips, an individual participant QR code may be available in the app. The organiser or tour leader may ask you to show it during check-in, entry to an event or attendance confirmation.
If you do not see a QR code in the app, it means that this feature may not have been enabled for your trip.
Why do Gallery or Wall not work?
Gallery and Wall are online features, so they require an Internet connection. It is also possible that a given feature has not been enabled by the organiser for your trip.
Text in the app looks unusual. What can I do?
In some cases, text may be displayed differently when system bold text or non-standard phone accessibility settings are enabled.
Check the text size and bold text settings on your phone.
Who should I contact if I have a problem?
Contact the trip organiser first, especially if the issue is related to the access code, itinerary, files, trip visibility or the range of available features.
If the issue is related to how the app works, you can also use the information in the Contact section.
